To fully enjoy the Lightning set in the route, I recommend you to buy the Payware-Addon from Armstrong Powerhouse (Station Lightning Enhancement Pack – UK Default):
http://alu5.6k3bxnoqy23xulrbldukcgn.qjt ... duct_id=81
Withouth this Payware-Addon the lightning still works, but the advantages you get with this pack is worth to buy it.
There's a video on youtube about the lightning used in the route (Thanx to Trainklipp for the vid and permission to mention it here):

Important information to play the route as a player train: There are the typical Italian speed limits all over the route. Please be aware and follow the speed limits (and not the F3 or F4 Monitor). The speed limits in the trackrules are meant for the AI trains. You just have to follow the last speed limit before entering a train station. The Francavilla platform isnt still working.
The route may not be redistributed without the author's permission.

Very special THANK YOU goes to:
Stefan Schmidt (alias StS on http://alu5.o3xiu1ogxv.w4l.e.s45.hideme.ru) for his superb help. Without him this project would be a never ending story.
A big thank you also to Marco Pedretti (Pedro) and Luca Cannavacciuolo (LucaCanna) for letting me use their spectacular objects ( Route Brescia-Iseo). Same goes to Claudio Mussa ( Route Torino-Genova) and to SAD (Route Altenburg-Wildau).
I would like to thank Nobsi (
http://alu5.o3xiu1ogxv.w4l.e.s45.hideme.ru ) for the lovely menue picture for my route he did. More menue pictures here:

I also would like to thank Mr. Mike Simpson (creator of RWTools) and his partner Bob Latimer for their endless search of what could have been the reason that SBHH would show up (especially on 3rd party routes). Luckily they found a solution and hopefully many Freeware Route (including mine) will work again. At the end of this file you'll find a little tutorial of how you can manage this route to work (see Please note). Also thanx a lot to all users of different forums who talked about on how to solve problems like this.
A big thank you goes to my tireless scenario tester Chris Goddard (chrisreb).
Installation:
There are two different way of installing the route. For those who already own version 2.1/3.0 please follow "How to...1". For new users please follow "How to...2".
"How to install 1" (already own version 2.1/3.0):
1. Delete version 2.1/3.0 with the RW Installation Manager (Utilities.exe) from your harddrive. Then please delete this file: 936c0a9f-7e20-4c4f-8fbb-ad65ed8193db. You find it in
SteamApps->common->railworks->assets->content->routes
2. Download AssetsPak4 and install it. Overwrite existing files (Some of the files are the same as in Pak 1, 2 and 3, but they are graphically updated)
3. Install version 3.1 with the RW Installation Manager (Utilities.exe) -->clear Caché.
"How to install 2" (first time users of this route):
1. Download Assetspak 1,2,3 and 4 and install it. Overwrite existing files.
2. Install required Routes and Asset Paks.
3. Install version 3.1 with the RW Installation Manager (Utilities.exe) --> clear Chaché.
Please note:
This is freeware. I will not take responsibilty for any possible damage on the Train Simulator Railworks software. Download at your own risk.
Many freeware routes (3rd party routes) have problems running with Trainsimulator2013. The reason could be anything. Luckily Mike Simpson and Bob Latimer have found a solution to (maybe) solve a problem or two:
Quote from Mike Simpson on uktrainsim.com:
The change I made to RW_Tools to remove unused Provider/Product entries from the RouteProperties.xml did help, but did not completely fix things for all routes.
My original Kuju folder was around 12 gigs, whereas removing this folder and doing a Verify Cache on Steam brought the Kuju folder to around 4.2 gigs.
I have set up a new folder Railworks\Store and placed the smaller folder in there as Kuju-Default. Now when I need to get a 3rd party route working, I move the 12 gig Kuju folder into Store as Kuju-Full and copy the Kuju-Default back into Assets as Kuju.
